Instructions:
For best results, please read all instructions before
beginning project. Refer to photo for color and design
placement.
| 1. |
Remove crust from bread and discard. Tear into small
pieces, placing in plastic cup. Add 2 tablespoons of
Tacky Glue. Mix with craft stick until coarse ball
forms. |
| 2. |
Place ball into plastic bag. Knead until smooth and
pliable. Tear off a small piece about the size of a
marble. Flatten round in palm of hand and make a well.
Add a drop or two of green to tint. Knead until color is
achieved. NOTE: Too much color will make dough sticky.
Repeat tinting process with remainder of dough with
pink. NOTE: You may make roses all white or all pink, as
desired. |
| 3. |
To make rose, pinch off a pea size of pink. Make a
ball and flatten between fingers to make a thin round.
Referring to photo, coil to make center of rose. Wrap
flat discs around center to make petals. Fold edges back
slightly for a realistic appearance. Cut off bottom of
roses while soft for a flat gluing surface. |
| 4. |
To make leaves, pinch off a pea size piece from
green ball. Make oval shape and flatten. Score in
veining, using dull side of crafter’s knife blade. Let
dry. |
| 5. |
On foil, pour a puddle of ivory and a small amount
of pink. Mix to achieve a pastel pink. Brush over top
and base of box. Brush ivory on inside. Let dry. |
| 6. |
Cut felt to fit inside bottom of box. Glue in place. |
| 7. |
Cut lace to fit left side of lid. Squeeze small dots
of Icicle on edges of lace and adhere to lid. |
| 8. |
Position roses and leaves, referring to photo at top
left. Glue in place. |
| 9. |
Make a ribbon bow. Glue below bouquet. Make loops
with ribbon tails and tack down with Tulip Crystal. |
| 10. |
Brush Icicle over roses and leaves. Squeeze dots
randomly over lid. Let dry. |
